Arbi tikki recipe is a simple fasting recipe made with colocasia roots. It is the perfect tea time snack for a healthy start. The Colocasia root that is being used in this Recipe is rich in Vitamin A, Magnesium, Potassium etc., which makes it a perfect dish to include in a healthy diet.

  • 250 grams arbi
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons singhare ka atta
  • 1 inch green chili + ½ ginger made into a paste
  • 1 teaspoon ajwain
  • sendha namak
  • oil

How To Cook Arbi Tikki

  1. Boil the arbi in a pressure cooker.

  2. Peel them, add ajwain, atta, green chilli, ginger and salt.

  3. Mash well and mix everything uniformly.

  4. Apply some oil on your palm and make some round balls and shape them in the form of tikkis.
  5. Fry them with some oil till golden brown on both sides.
  6. Serve arbi tikki hot with green chutney or sweet chutney.
