Cheesy Garlic Bread

Cheesy Garlic Bread Ingredients:

  • French Bread
  • Butter: Salted and softened
  • Garlic Powder
  • Garlic cloves:
  • Italian seasoning
  • Colby Jack Cheese:
  • Mozzarella Cheese:
  • Parley: chopped for garnish

How to Make Homemade Garlic Bread:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut your French bread loaf lengthwise and place on top of a baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl combine softened butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, Italian seasoning and shredded cheese. Spread evenly on each side of the garlic bread.  Top with Colby and mozzarella cheese.
  3. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until butter is melted an bubbly. You can also broil the top for 1-2 minutes at the end to give it a more crisp top.

Tips for Making Garlic Bread:

  • If you want your garlic cheese bread a little crispier, broil it the last 1 to 2 minutes it’s in the oven.
  • You need to cover the bread the first time you bake it. This prevents it from toasting too quickly.
  • Wait a few minutes before slicing and serving this garlic bread. It’s best warm, but not straight from the oven!
