Cheesy Garlic Bread Ingredients:
- French Bread
- Butter: Salted and softened
- Garlic Powder
- Garlic cloves:
- Italian seasoning
- Colby Jack Cheese:
- Mozzarella Cheese:
- Parley: chopped for garnish
How to Make Homemade Garlic Bread:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut your French bread loaf lengthwise and place on top of a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl combine softened butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, Italian seasoning and shredded cheese. Spread evenly on each side of the garlic bread. Top with Colby and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until butter is melted an bubbly. You can also broil the top for 1-2 minutes at the end to give it a more crisp top.
Tips for Making Garlic Bread:
- If you want your garlic cheese bread a little crispier, broil it the last 1 to 2 minutes it’s in the oven.
- You need to cover the bread the first time you bake it. This prevents it from toasting too quickly.
- Wait a few minutes before slicing and serving this garlic bread. It’s best warm, but not straight from the oven!
